A fiery seafood dish which is very easy to make.
½ teaspoon ground cumin
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 teaspoons lime juice
1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon butter
6 garlic cloves, finely sliced
1 small onion, finely sliced
12 prawns, shell and head removed and deveined
1 tomatoes, sliced
1 tablespoon fresh coriander, chopped
- Thoroughly mix the cumin, cayenne pepper, lime juice, Tabasco and oyster sauce in a bowl.
- Heat the butter in a small frying pan and fry the onions and garlic for about 5 minutes until just turning golden. Add the prawns and stir fry for 2 – 3 minutes until pink.
- Put the contents of the pan into the bowl with the sauce and mix thoroughly. Serve on a bed of lettuce with the tomatoes and sprinkle over the fresh coriander.
